Audition Directions - 7th and 8th Grade Concert Band

 Woodwinds and Brass - Please perform 3 major scales of your choice and a NYSSMA or All-County Solo (we would prefer if you could say the name of your solo before you begin your performance). You may skip the rests.

 Percussion - Please choose one of the below options:

1) Perform both a snare drum solo and a mallets solo

2) Perform a snare solo and 3 scales of your choice on mallets

3) Perform a mallet solo and 3 rudiments of your choice on snare

 Record your audition in one file (try to record in mp3, mp4, m4a, wav, or any standard audio format). We recommend recording on your phone or on a computer with a microphone.

4) Submit your audition recording via the Google Form below
